Raipur: The Government Railway Police (GRP) of Raipur has taken a great action against Drugs. Recently the GRP police officials have been successful in arresting smugglers of ganja. The law enforcement officials successfully apprehended the culprits while they were attempting to transport approximately 5 kg of ganja with an estimated value of Rs 48 lakh.
The coordinated operation carried out by the Raipur GRP resulted in the seizure of the illicit drugs from the B-6 coach of the Puri-LTT Superfast Express.
This swift action by the police has dealt a significant blow to the illegal drug trade network in the region. One individual was from Delhi and the other one was from Chandigarh.
