Adah Sharma starrer, The Kerala Story, is still continuing its dominance at the Indian Box office. The movie was able to collect a total of 5.75 crores on the third Friday of its release. Therefore, it has performed even better than Kashmir Files on its third Friday.
Along with that, it even surpassed many popular Bollywood movies like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan. Many people even say that the movie might even cross the 200 crores Box Office collection within a few days. Even after the release of Hollywood movie Fast X, the growth of The Kerala Story has not slowed down.
Thus, Kerala Story has now collected more than 167 crores in the Box Office. The movie recieved a good response in many states due to which some states have declared it tax-free. On the other hand, West Bengal has banned the movie due to which the director took the matter to the Supreme Court.
However, Supreme Court denied their appeal to unban the movie as the points given by the West Bengal Government were regarding the peace in their state. Also, the Supreme Court has advised the Tamil Nadu Government to provide security after the matter in the Madras High Court related to the movie.
