Bhopal: As the controversial movie hit big screens, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made the The Kerela Story tax-free in the state. Ina video address, CM Chouhan urged the fans to watch the film.

“The film ‘The kerela Story’ exposing the horrific reality of terrorism is being made tax free in Madhya Pradesh”, tweeted the chief minister.

The move comes a day after prime minister Narendra Modi credited the movie for bringing out terror conspiracies and used it to attack the Congress during his roadshow in Karnataka. Addressing the issues, CM Chouhan said that the fim exposes the conspiracies of love jihad, religious conversions, and terrorism and its hideous face.

The film engulfed in controversies has earned over Rs. 8 crores at the domestic box office. The film was released on Friday and has been written and directed by Sudipto Sen staring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in the lead.
