Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel changed the school timings in Chhattisgarh after looking at the severe heat waves. An order was given out today, i.e., 20 April, that the school timings in the same shift will be from 7 am to 11 am. These orders have also been given to the schools that conduct their classes in two changes.

The timings of Primary and middle classes in such schools now are from 2 am to 7 am. The High School classes will also be carried from 11 am to 3 pm. It has also been said that these timings will only be effective from 20 April to 30 April. The Government of Chhattisgarh took this decision to protect the School students and teachers from the severe heat waves.

The Chief Minister has also appealed that the working hours of the Government departments must also be changed. These timings have been changed for all Government offices and non-government schools also. This decision was also taken by Raipur, and the school timings were altered to 5-7 am. 

The Meteorological department reported that this year it would be hotter than it used to be. Because of this reason, the Government is taking orders to protect individuals from heat waves.
