KANKER: A leopard was spotted in Chhattisgarhs Kanker. Pictures and videos of the big cat went viral on the social media creating a tensed atmosphere.
According to eyewitness, a leopard was found sitting on the Gadhiya hills in Rajapara on Monday morning. It did not cause harm to anyone. However, fear engulfed the residents.
This is not the first time a leopard was sighted in an area populated by humans. Earlier, as well several leoprad sighings have been reported by local people.
The Forest officials have been informed meanwhile, residents have been asked to venture deep into the Gadhiya Hills.
