DHAR: In shocking incident, man declared dead two years ago arrives home in MPs Dhar. According to sources, Kamlesh Patidar a middle aged man who contracted COVID-19 during the second wave was declared dead at a hospital in Ahmedabad in 2021.
The family members of Kamlesh Patidar, 35, were taken by surprise on Saturday when he knocked the door of his maternal aunt’s house in Karodkala village at around 6 am said a relative.
A family member revealed that they were not handed the body of Kamlesh as per the SOPs of COVID-19. The civic authoritiea had performed his last rites.
Kamlesh’s wife and family members have confirmed his idenitity following which a police complaint was filed.
As per the statement recorded by Kanwan police station in-charge Ram Singh Rathore, Kamlesh sharing his plight informed that he was injected intoxicants every alternate day.
The authorities in Dhar district have launched a probe into the matter.
