Bhopal: On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made a big announcement. As he participated in the state-level Gau Seva Samman Yojana and price distribution program in Amarkantak today, he announced his decision to run ambulances for cows and other silent animals who fall ill.

The animal ambulance service will begin soon and will be available in all development blocks. It will have a doctor, compounder, and driver. A total of 407 such ambulances will run in 313 blocks and 313 cities, announced the CM. People can call the ambulance by dialing 1962, the dedicated animal helpline number.

CM Chouhan retweeted a tweet that read, “Honourable chief minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji participating in women’s conference and chief minister’s land rights letter distribution program organised in Betul”.

CM Chouhan took the blessings of Jain Guru Vidya Sagar ji and offered prayers to Maa Narmada. He inaugurated the program by worshipping a girl child and lighting the lamp. “Narbada Maiya has met like this, as if Mahtai and father have met. Narmada Har!”, tweeted CM Chouhan.

Later, the chief minister also attended the women’ conference and tweeted a video of the same.
