MAHARASHTRA: The lady who threatened Mrs. Fadnavis was successfully nabbed by the Maha police this evening. The arrest came on the allegations leveled by Amruta Fadnavis against a bookies daughter named Anikhsa.

In an FIR, Amruta lodged, she stated that Aniksha had tried to bribe her offering Rs 1 crore to intervene in a criminal case involving her father who has been evading arrest for years. Anikhshe also offered to give information ‘ to help her earn money the FIR mentioned.

As per inputs, the lady contacted Mrs. Fadnavis after MHA came into power. However, this was not the first time the lady contacted her. Mrs. Fadnavis was earlier reached out for the first time in November last year. Aniksha and Mrs. Fadnavis have also met 16 times, sources said. The FIR was filed on Feb 20th after the lady approached Mrs. Fadnavis for help through voice notes and messages from an unknown number.

“Amruta Fadnavis informed the Malabar Hill Police and registered an FIR. On the basis of FIR, the Mumbai Crime Branch traced and arrested the suspect from her flat in Ulhasnagar,” an official said.
