BASTAR: Naxals abducted and allegedly shot a 26-year-old boy suspecting him of being a police informer in Basta CG.
The incident took place a day after Holi. About 10-12 Naxals disguised as locals barged into the victims’ house, kidnapped him, kept him alive for a day, and killed him later.
Sainath Narot, used to live in Gadchiroli and had come to his native place-Marduhur village to celebrate Holi with his family. Sainath is said to have been preparing for a competitive exam in Gadchiroli.
After killing the boy, the ulras dumped his body on the road and also left pamphts, taking the responsiblity of murder. Loacals who saw the body on the road, immediately informed the police.
