Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 14th edition of Aero India tomorrow in Bengaluru the five-day biennial Aero India show will start at the Air Force Station in Yelhanka. The theme of Aero India 2023 is ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities”. Being one of the premier aerospace exhibitions, Aero India has already hosted 13 successful editions in Bengaluru since 1996.

Indian Air Force tweeted about the preparations for the event. “One day left for Aero India 2023. IAF aircraft are fine-tuning the flying display for the inaugural on 13 Feb 2023”, read the tweet.

According to the Aero India website, a total of 809 exhibitors have registered so far for the 5-day event of the 809 exhibitors, 699 exhibitors are Indians and 110 are foreign exhibitors. In lieu of the PM Modi’s vision of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’, the event will focus on displaying indigenous equipment/technologies and forging partnerships with foreign companies”.

As the city is set to dazzle with Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)-Tejas, HTT-40, Dornier Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), and Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH). The DRDO will display a wide range of indigenously-developed products and technologies. The exhibitors also include MSMEs and startups who will showcase the advancement of niche technologies and growth in aerospace and defense capabilities.
