DEWAS, INDORE: A huge fire broke out in three godowns in the Dewas Naka area, Indore at 10 am on Saturday an official said.
As per inputs, the godowns belonged to chemical, chocolate factory and cold storage. The fire came to the notice when employees arrived at the site on Saturday morning.
The smoke from the fire apparently spread to kilometers away from the spot. No casualty is reported. Material worth Lakhs is said to have gutted in the fire. So far 25 firebrigades have been deployed to extinguish the fire. Onlookers said the flames were spreading even as the firefighters tried to put them out. The reason for the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
Emergency forces were engaged immediately. Police forces along with district administration and ambulances arrived on the spot to control the paniv that broke in the area.
