Pathaan continues to thunder at the box office. On the 15th day after release the spy thriller collected Rs 435 crore in its lifetime run at the Box Office. In the domestic market, the Siddharth Anand directorial has crossed Rs 450 crore with a major collection from the Hindi belt.
SRK with Pathaan also broke a record set by Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan, Khan who has been the box office king over the years, gave a flop remake of Forrest Gump. However, Khan has been on the top and undefeated for the last 14 years with films like Ghajni, 3 idiots, PK, and Dangal. Time and again Amir Khan has broken his own record. But this time another Khan of Bollywood bagged the chance. Pathan has overpowered Aamir Khan and the so far collection of the spectacle actioner is 849 crore worldwide.
Meanwhile, the spy thriller has got one more week to enjoy a solo status in theatres after which Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzaada and Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man 3 will hit the screens to divide the numbers. Until then, Pathaan shall collect around Rs 500 crore nett in India and become the first Bollywood film in this exclusive club with Baahubali 2.
