BHOPAL: The Food Civil Supplies Department, Madhya Pradesh will begin preparations for procuring paddy at MSP from today onwards. The state aims to procure 80 LMT of paddy during the Kharif Marketing Season 2023-24.
Farmers can get themselves registered under the procurement program at the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies and/orCommon Service Center, Public Service Center through online format. The Chauhan govt has decided to procure paddy at Rs 2125 per quintal this year.
During the registeration farmers will have to give their land details which will later be verified by a Patwari. The bank account linked to Aadhar card should also be added for disbursement of payment.
As many as 480 procurement centres have been set up according to an official communiqué. Last year, the state administration procured 34.50 lakh tonne during the Kharif Marketing Season 2022-23.
