BHILAI: In a major action on Saturday, Dept of Bhilai Steel Plant at the Civic Centre sealed a cinema theatre and gym in response to the pending revenue payment.
As per information by BSP officials, Miraj cinema theatre was due a revenue of Rs 6 crore 92 lakhs. The shutters of the cinema were brought down in presence of heavy police forces and Executive Magistrate and the demolition squad. It is worth noting that the land on which the cinema theatre is operating has been leased by BSP.
A case was filed at the BSPs Estate court by the director of Miraj Cinema which he lost.
Several illegal structures have been razed down and sealed off the Municipal offices across the state.
