REWA: Two died and four others were critical among the 20 injured in an accident on Tuesday in Rewa District, MP. The pickup vehicle of the students is said to have collided with a bus, the police said.
The accident took place near Patiyari village on the Jawa-Dabhora road, about 70 km away from the Rewa district headquarters, under the limits of Panwar police station, said Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Venkateshwar Rao.
The deceased include six and 11-year-old girls who were students of classes 1 and 5 respectively. 20 other injured are students between ages 8 to 10, he added stating that they were being treated at the Rewa Medical College.
A complaint has been filed against the owners and the operators of the private transport service.
