LORMI: A boat turned over in Khudia dam on Tuesday night, an official said on Wednesday. As per information received by the officials, two fishermen had ventured into the waters for fishing while their boat lost balance and toppled and one drowned while the other made it to land.
The incident surfaced after the patrolling team on the intervening nights of Tuesday and Wednesday found the fisherman who survived and illustrated the incident. Following which divers were engaged and the body of the deceased was searched. The deceased is identified as Rohit Yadav (31). The body of the fisherman is sent for postmortem, following which it will handed over to the family said officers from Khudia PS who are looking into the case.
