Shivpuri: In a shocking incident, a Class 10th girl from Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh jumped out of a speeding rickshaw when she was allegedly molested by the driver in Dehat area. The incident was reported today morning.
On the way to school, the driver allegedly made unwanted advances. The victim who felt uncomfortable screamed in the rickshaw for help. As the rickshaw did not stop, she decided to jump out of the speeding rickshaw. The pedestrians caught the accused autodriver and handed over to the police. Meanwhile, the girl has now been admitted to the district hospital as she suffered minor injuries from the fall.
SHO of Dehat Police Station said that a case has been registered and the accused has been booked for molestation under IPC and other relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO).
A similar incident also shocked Aurangabad in Maharashtra, wherein a minor girl jumped out of the autorickshaw after being molested by an autodriver. The incident was caught on CCTV camera and the video went viral on social media.
