Delhi: Bollywood veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee’s mother Geeta Devi passed away today. She breathed her last this morning due to prolonged illness. Geeta Devi was suffering from age-related problems for a long time, after which she was admitted to a hospital in Delhi. She was undergoing treatment for a long time, but this morning her condition worsened and she died on Thursday morning at the age of 80.
Manoj Bajpayee and his family are completely shattered after the death of his mother. The actor is taking care of his family. For the last week, Geeta Devi was being treated at Pushpanjali Medical Center and Max Superspeciality Hospital in Delhi. Manoj Bajpayee also reached the hospital to meet his mother after taking time out of his busy schedule.
Ashok Pandit informed about the demise of Manoj Bajpayee’s mother through a tweet. He wrote in his tweet, “Manoj Bajpayee, our heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family on the sad demise of your respected mother, Om Shanti.” The actor had also lost his father a few years ago.
