NEW DELHI: “On this very day in the year 1949, independent India did set great foundations for her future. This Constitution Day becomes more special as India heralds ahead after completing her journey of 75 years of independence, said PM Modi at an event organized at the SC on the occasion of Constitution Day.

At the event, he launched the Virtual Justice Clock, JustIS mobile App 2.0, Digital court, and S3WaaS Websites. The Virtual Justice Clock is an initiative to exhibit vital statistics of the justice delivery system at the court level giving the details of the cases instituted, cases disposed and pendency of cases on a day, week, and monthly basis at the Court level. The public can access the Virtual Justice Clock of any court establishment on the District Court’s website,” the statement said. JustIS Mobile App 2.0 is a tool available to judicial officers for effective court and case management by monitoring the pendency and disposal of not only his court but also individual judges working under them.

The Union govt through the project strives to provide services to litigants, lawyers, and the judiciary through the ICT enablement of courts.

PM Modi paid homage to the makers of the Indian constitution and reiterated the commitment to fulfill their vision. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi shared a video that gave a quick glimpse of the 22 chapters of the constitution.

Since 2015, Nov 26 is celebrated as Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constitutent Assembly in 1949. It is also known as the `Samvidhan Divas.`
