NEW DELHI: Shraddha Walker murder accused Aaftab underwent a polygraph test on Thursday which lasted for almost 9 hours, an official said. As per sources, Aaftab at the polygraph test which was conducted at Forensic Laboratory in Rohini sources in the know says he was questioned about his relationship with Sharddha, his childhood and family, and how he hid the evidence.

Media reports state that Aaftab confessed to having watched Drishyam-part one through which cops suspect he has drawn inspiration. Overall 50 questions were asked during the test, sources said.

Aaftab underwent the first session of the polygraph test called the lie detector test on Tuesday. The tests are being conducted based on the permission the Delhi court had sought in the latest hearing.

Meanwhile, the Delhi police are recording statement of the common friends of the victim and Aftab under section 164. The friend stated that Aftab used to assault Shraddha and threatened to kill her. THe Delhi police have sezed five knives from Aaftab’s flat which are being examined by the forensic team. Reportedly the saw the accused used to chop Shardda’s dead body is yet to be discovered.
