Corona Horror: Music-composer Wajid Khan passes away, From Amitabh Bachchan to Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood mourns
Bollywood: The sad demise of the Bollywood singer-composer Wajid Khan has left the entertainment industry. The popular singer of the duo- Sajid-Wajid, known for the composition of the hit movies of Salman Khan ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabang’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has died of coronavirus died of the coronavirus at the city hospital in the early hours on Monday in Mumbai. He was 42.
Khan was hospitalised at a Mumbai hospital with a kidney infection, which progressively got worse. “He died of cardiac arrest,” Khan’s brother Sajid Khan told the news agency. He also confirmed that his brother had tested positive for the coronavirus.
The celebrities and the fans mourned his demise on Twitter and showered condolences and blessings to his family.
Amitabh Bachchan expressed his grief over wajid’s death and said “Shocked at the passing of Wajid Khan .. a bright smiling talent passes away .. duas , prayers and in condolence”
Priyanka Chopra took Twitter to express “Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers. @wajidkhan7”
Parineeti Chopra also mourned his dead, said “Wajid Bhai you were the nicest, nicest, nicest man! Always smiling. Always singing. All heart. Every music session with him was memorable. You will truly miss wajid bhai. #Wajidkhan.”
The bollywood actor and son of David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan took to Twitter to express his shock at his death. He tweeted “shocked hearing this news@wajidkhan7 bhai was extremely close to me and my family. He was one of the most positive people to be around. We will miss u Wajid bhai thank u for the music.”
The music composer Vishal Dadlani said “Hard to believe we won’t meet again, talk again, laugh again,@wajidkhan7 (in front, in the picture). sajidk21 my brother, you will never be alone and our brother will never be forgotten.”
Shankar Mahadevan, another bollywood composer tweeted “Am just not able to come to terms with this ! Shocking ! Goodbye dear brother.. love you .. till we meet on the other side ! Prayers for your peaceful journey Wajidbhai.”
The shocking news has left the industry speechless. He was considered to be a jewel in the industry.
