NIWARI: As many as 3 died and one was injured in an accident that took place near Negua village, some 25 km from the district headquarters late Friday night.
The police in a media interaction stated that the SUV carrying 4 persons lost control as the driver negotiated a turn due to which the vehicle rammed into a tree.
Emergency forces including police, ambulance, and fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot on receiving information about the accident. The dead bodies were fished out and the injured is being treated at a hospital in Jhansi in neighboring Uttar Pradesh.
The deceased were aged between 27 and 45, said Prithvipur’s Sub Divisional Officer of Police Santosh Patel said.
