A perfect gift for all King Khan fans. On Wednesday, as Shah Rukh Khan turned 57, he shared the first teaser of ‘Pathan’- his first film in four years. And Khan does not disappoint.
Longer than a minute, the ‘Pathaan’ teaser gives a sneak peek into an action-packed film that is set to hit big screens in January 2023. The teaser showcases a bloodied Shah Rukh Khan, sporting long hair, and performing some high-octane action stunts. The teaser also shows Deepika Padukone playing a femme fatale of sorts and John Abraham in a biker avatar, firing some heavy guns.
Taking to his social media, the superstar dropped the video and wrote, “Apni kursi ki peti baandh lijiye…#PathaanTeaser OUT NOW! As per reports, the film revolves around a RAW Agent codenamed Pathaan, who takes on an ominous villain who is hell-bent on ripping apart India’s security apparatus. The movie will hit theatres on January 25 in the coming year. It is helmed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film’s screenplay has been written by Shridhar Raghavan.
Khan who has been away from the Bollywood industry for four years now – gives a comeback with this powerpack film. Apart from “Pathaan”, there is “Jawan”, a pan-India movie helmed by Atlee, and Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki” in the pipeline for Khan.
Shahrukh who turned 57 today also held a meet and greet with his fans on Tuesday at midnight from the balcony of Mannat.
