RAJNANDANGAON: The CG police in Rajnandangaon district on Sunday morning seized tobacco and its products worth Rs 18.5 lakhs. Acting on the tip off, the police has deployed a team near Churia Mod village Baputola on Nagpur road.
Vikrant Tirupude, the driver of the truck has been detained. However he has not disclosed any details of the consignment. Preliminary investigation revealed the batch of tobacco products was being transported from Maharshtra.
