GUNA: As many as 30 were injured in a bus accident near Guna bypass on National Highway-46 at around 11.30 am on Sunday. Out of all three are sad to be severly injured and one amongst them is referred to a private hospital in Gwalior.
The bus is said to have been ferrying labourers from Surat to Kanpur, who were going on to their homes on the occasion.
As per preliminary investigation police officials state the accident took place in an attempt to save a motorcycle that came midway. However, the passengers on board claim the driver was intoxicated, moreover the bus carried pax beyond its capacity.
The police arrived on the spot as soon they received inputs about the incident. Emergency forces including ambulances and rescue officials were deployed.
Further probe is underway, police officials said as the rescue ops continued.
