A Delhi Court is scheduled to hear the bail plea of Jacqueline Fernandez in connection to her alleged involvement in money laundering along with conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.
The ED in its investigation has named the Sri Lankan model as an associate of the conman. Jacqueline in the latest hearing was granted interim bail in the matter. The Additional Sessions Judge had issued the actor bail on terms of Rs 50,000 bail bond valid until October 22nd.
Jacqueline has been summoned several times by the probe agency earlier for interrogation in the matter. According to the charge sheet filed by ED, statements by the Race 3 actress as recorded in August and October last year mentioned that she received luxury gifts like bags, shoes and a pair of LV shoes, and expensive jewellery. She also informed to have been gifted a mini cooper which she denied to accept.
Apart from Jacqueline Fernanadez, Nora Fatehi has also been questioned in the case.
