Jabalpur: Rescue operations for five boys who went missing in Deora Khurd under the NKJ police station area after they had gone for a bath on the banks of Katni river on Monday completed on Tuesday morning.

A team of Home Guards and Jabalpur SDRF were deployed last night and recovered the dead bodies. Superintendent of Police Sunil Jain, Additional Collector Ramanuj Toppo, officials and the police force were also present on the spot. Officials who pulled out Ayush, Surya Viswakarma, Mahipal, Sahil and Anuj Soni from deep water predict the boys might have flown into deep water due to strong currents in the river.
