Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child and today the couple hosted a baby shower which was attended by Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, cousin Karishma Kapoor, and grandmother Neila Devi. Alia’s close friends Anushka Ranjan and Akanksha Ranjan were present too.
The couple are basking the success of their latest film Brahmastra. The Brahmastra director, Ayan Mukherjee attended the event. Riddhima took to Instagram and shared pictures from the baby shower with Alia and Ranbir captioned as ‘mommy to be’ and ‘daddy to be’.
Earlier in June, Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy by sharing a post on Instagram. The actor shared a picture of herself and Ranbir Kapoor from their sonography session at a clinic.
