Dindori, MP: In a heartbreaking incident on Monday night, 2 girls died and 4 were severely injured a police official said on Monday. The police have launched a probe into the accident and the driver who is missing is being searched, the official added.
According to sources, the two girls along with others were returning from a Navratri festival in Chattisgarh while the vehicle- a tractor they were travelling in toppled in Village Thali, Dindori district MP. Acting swiftly on the information received by the villagers, the Shahpur police rushed to the spot. The bodies of the two minor girls were handed over to the families after a post-mortem was conducted at the district hospital.
It is being said that after the tractor turned, the two girls fell on the road and the tractor toppled on them. While others jumped to save themselves. The festival of Navratri for the families of Seema and Sumitra turned into days of mourning.
