Raipur: A group of history sheeters in Raipur were reportedly nabbed at the Swami Vivekananda airport by the CBI officers on Saturday police officials said.
As per the primary investigation, complaints of theft were reported by members of the political parties. BJP leader Gauri Shankars has been the recent victim and had lodged a complaint at the Maudapara PS after his belongings like his wallet were picked up by the gang during the rally held in Raipur.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, the CBI Delhi swung into action and nabbed the accused. It is being learnt that the group was based in Delhi- Mumbai and had executed several such rally thefts in the past.
