West Bengal: The Punjab police on Sunday nabbed the sixth accused involved in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala on May 29th. Mundi and his two associates, Kapil Pandit and Rajinder were caught from the West Bengal-Nepal border in a joint operation with central agencies and Delhi Police, Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.

The police added that it has arrested two of Mundi’s associates as well. A 9mm Glock pistol, ten 0.32 pistols, three cartridges and a luxury car were recovered from him. The weapons were supplied to him by one Ashwani Kumar, resident of Pehowa in Haryana. Kumar has already been arrested, officials said.

Gaurav Yadav, DGP Punjab police updating about the arrest said-“Deepak, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder have been arrested today by AGTF team at WestBengal – Nepal border in the culmination of intelligence-based operation. Deepak was the shooter in Bolero module, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder provided logistical support including weapons & hideouts.”

Priyavrat Fauji, Kashish and Ankit Sersa were earlier arrested by the Delhi police on July 4th. On July 20th Punjab killed Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kusa and Jagrup Singh Roopa in an encounter.
