Raipur: The World Health Organisation has praised schemes run by the Chhattisgarh government on its official website. The Government of Chhattisgarh is working continuously on schemes related to health, education, sanitation, nutrition, and social security. Efforts are being made in the direction of increasing the accessibility of health facilities along with running an awareness campaign by the Chhattisgarh government.

“The citizens of Chhattisgarh are proud when an organization like WHO recognizes our plans. Satisfied to inform you that some case studies of our ‘Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojna’ have been shared by WHO on its website”, tweeted the CM.

The articles released by WHO specifically mention the health programs and various campaigns in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, the WHO report states that people are now getting quality health facilities at the local level due to health facilities through Haat markets and interior areas.

Ever since the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinics Scheme began in 2019, more than 25 lakh people have availed of health services. Tribal communities in forest areas have benefited as they are most vulnerable to malaria.
