In what comes as the latest development in the Twitter deal is a summon from the court to the Twitter Inc Whistleblower seeking documents and communications on the company’s spam and alleged security vulnerabilities.

Musk on Monday subpeoned whistleblower Peiter Zatko majorly for information on the spam accounts the microblogging platform held. Musk accused the Parag Agarwal led social media company of misleading him about the true number of spam or bot accounts on the microblogging platform.

Twitter however was not available for any comments. In the hearing earlier the company titled Musks disgareement as “legally irrelevant” because Twitter always said its spam counts were only estimates, not binding representations.

Zatko, who recently ended a stint as the security officer, last week made a comment that went public vociferously. The statement said company never had a solid security plan.
