New Delhi: A few of Aam Admi Party (AAP) leaders are incommunicado ahead of a key meeting called by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. The AAP has 62 MLAs in the 70-member Delhi Assembly, and only 54 MLAs attended the key meeting today. The speaker is outside the country and deputy CM Manish Sisodia is in Himachal Pradesh.

“BJP’s Operation Lotus failed in Delhi, AAP MLA Saurabh_MLAgh”, tweeted AAP from its official twitter account.

“We are absolutely certain that all AAP MLAs are with the party and will remain with the party. The meeting (of party MLAs called by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal) is scheduled to begin at 11 AM. I expect all MLAs arrive by then”, sai AAP MLA Atishi.

AAP alleged today that 12 of its Delhi MLAs were targeted by the BJP to break the party. AAP alleged that they wanted to break away 40 MLAs and were offering Rs 20 crores each. The trail of events began with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raiding the residence of Sisodia, in connection with an alleged liquor scam in Delhi.
