Mumbai: Raju Srivastava, who suffered a heart attack on August 10, is still being treated in the hospital. On Sunday, Shekhar Suman shared a health update regarding the comedian on Twitter. Shekhar informed his family members that Raju is still unconscious but “apparently recovering steadily.”

Shekhar Suman Tweeted, “Today’s update on Raju according to his family members…his organs are functioning normally. Though still unconscious, the doctor says he is supposedly improving steadily. Mahadev ki Kripa. Har Har Mahadev.”

After having a heart attack, the 58-year-old comic was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The same day, he had an angioplasty as well, and since then he has been on a ventilator.

On Friday Raju’s brother, Deepu Srivastava informed viewers through a video message that the comedian is making a full recovery under the care of the hospital’s top medical staff. In addition, he advised people to ignore rumors and to keep praying for his brother’s wellbeing. Deepu also mentioned, “He’s a fighter and can rapidly come back winning the battle and can amuse everyone with his comedy.”
