The newly authorized technique will deliver 360,00 vials of vaccine that will shield nearly two million people.

Currently, more than 13,500 cases of Monkeypox have been registered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as of August 17th. In the statement on Thursday, it further announced to make vaccines more available to members of high-risk communities for which it has decided to set aside 50,000 vaccine doses from the national pile for distribution at gay pride.

While officials have stressed that monkeypox can infect anybody through things like prolonged skin-to-skin contact, men who have sex with men have been at especially high risk of infection, and have made up about 93 per cent of US cases.
