Mumbai: Filmmaker Ayan Mukherji today unveiled a teaser of the second song from his most anticipated film ‘Brahmastra’. Titled ‘Deva Deva’, the teaser video begins with Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva praying to God. He also shared that the complete track will be released on August 8th.
In the video, Ranbir aka Shiva is seen praying to God and he tells Isha (Alia Bhatt) the concept of light. “It’s what protects us when faced with any darkness”, he says in the video. Later, it also shows various glimpses of Shiva exploring his power of fire with Amitabh Bachchan. The song is sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Pritam and the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Brahmastra is the most anticipated movie of the year starring Ranbir Kapoor and Aliya Bhatt. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in the lead roles. Recently, Ayan Mukherji also released the first romantic song from the film, Kesariya. The song received much love from the audience.
