Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh: An FIR has been lodged against Congress leader Rakesh Gupta in Darmia police station area of Ambikapur. Gupta has been charged in connection with the death of labour due to electrocution.
The incident is reported to have taken place on July 22nd at the former leaders’ farmhouse. The labour suffered a high voltage current, said the Superintendent of Police Bhavana Gupta. The case has been filed under Section 304 A of IPC she added.
On being questioned, the Congress District President informed that he has not received any notice and will follow legal proceedings.
