Indore: Educational Institutions in Indore, Madhya Pradesh got a thumps up in the newly released list of best educational institutes in India. The Central Education Ministry on Friday released the list incorporating the names of best education centres in the country.
The Indian Institute of Science Technology (IIST) bagged a commendable rank with a score of 55.13% overall. The centre was ranked at 31st position. IIT Madras topped this list released by the Union Education Minister on Friday. In the research institute category, IIST was placed at 26th position which was even better than the overall category with a score of 50.73%. The Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on his official twitter handle shared the complete ranking release video.
In the overall category, IIT Madras is followed by IISC Bengaluru at second position while IIT Bombay has been ranked third. Among the Universities, IISC Bengalore is followed by Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) on the second spot while Jamia Millia Islamia has bagged the third spot in the list. AIIMS Delhi is the best medical college in the country followed by PGIMER Chandigarh and CMC Vellore. In the Management Institute category, IIM Ahmedabad secured the top spot with IIM Bengaluru an IIM Calcutta as the first and second runner ups respectively.
