Gariaband: During his 2 hours visit to Gariaband district, Collector Prabhat Malik touched all the basic areas of necessity and inspected each one of them effectively. This was the first time when a Collector on his very first visit addressed all the major problems and suggested possible solutions for all.
The officials were stay put during the visit as the Collector enquired about all the problems. Officials of the old hospital building were ordered to prepare a legitimate proposal for its development. A solar panel in the doctor’s hostel, a shed for the gen-set and a paver block in the porch area will be considered in the proposal, officials in the know said.
The Collector also took stock of the garbage disposal on the streets and handed over the garbage disposal duty to district and panchayat authorities with immediate effect.
The collector also took stock of the Swami Atmanand School in the district. RES officials were reprimanded for the dilapidated condition of the building due to water leakage.
Additionally, the Collector also reviewed the under-construction sites of the food parks and fund centres for women in Devbhog.
