New Delhi: The SC refused to transfer FIRs to Delhi over remarks issued by ousted BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma. The apex court was hearing the plea filed by Sharma requesting to club FIRs. It underscored; “When you lodge a complaint against someone that person is arrested but nobody dares to touch you. That shows your clout.”

“Her loose tongue has set the entire country on fire. Her outburst is responsible for the unfortunate incident at Udaipur,” said Justice Suryakant castigating her.

The top court in its orders stated that Nupur Sharma should apologise to the ‘ whole country’, adding that her derogatory comments are” single-handedly responsible” for what is happening in the country.

Massive outrage was triggered after BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma issued disturbing remarks on Prophet Mohammed. Gulf nations came down heavily on India boycotting India and calling off relations.
