Gwalior: In a horrendous incident in Gwalior, a minor was raped by an uncle and murdered mercilessly. As per reports, the 9-year-old girl’s body was found near railway tracks after the police engaged in an investigation after registering a complaint.
As per the information given by the parents, the girl was playing with her brother and other kids in the locality two days ago and went missing in the afternoon. The brother of the victim on being questioned about the whereabouts of the sister said that a relative of theirs had taken her along to get her an ice cream. The accused who blatantly lied to have left the girl shortly was identified as the culprit the CCTV footage of the society was extracted.
The body of the victim is sent for post-mortem and the police have issued a lookout for the accused uncle. At the crime spot, the girl was found sans clothes with a big stone stained with blood nearby. Investigators assume the girl was raped and then mercilessly killed using a stone. The accused will be booked under relevant sections of IPC and POSCO act police officials said.
