Raipur: CM Baghel who is on a special trip to 90 constituencies of Chattisgarh made a surprise visit to Kusmi. Following his arrival in the district, a Baithak was organized where the general public interacted with the CM and shared their issues.
After the public interaction, several big announcements including road works near Kanthi Ghat in the Kusmi-Samri-Balrampur access road, the establishment of potato, tau and chilli processing plant unit were also made. The healthcare sector of the district was also uplifted by the addition of advanced X-ray machines at CHC. Apart from these, the opening of new trades in ITI and the establishment of a fire station in Nagar Panchayat are also announced.
Baghel embarked on his special trip on Wednesday morning. In the first phase, he will cover 26 assembly constituencies of two crucial divisions Surguja and Bastar. “Actually, he wanted to know the response of the public towards his flagship projects and special initiatives taken by him. Therefore, to have direct feedback the journey has been planned,” the officer said.
He will visit any of the three villages of each constituency. It includes inspection of villages, Anganwadis, Health centres and others, officers in the know said.
