New Delhi: The IMD in a fresh notice has predicted heatwave like conditions in large parts of the country for five days. “Rise by about 2 degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures very likely over most parts of Northwest India during next three days and fall by about 2 degrees Celsius thereafter- the notice read.

The warnings come as parts of Orissa, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Delhi recorded temperatures above 45 degrees celsius. In parts of Central India, the temperature soared beyond 45 degrees celsius.
