With the big day just around the corner, bride to be Alia Bhatt broke silence around the wedding buzz.
On Sunday night, YouTuber BeYouNick took to his Instagram account and shared a video wherein he could be seen recreating a scene from Shahid Kapoor’s 2019 film Kabir Singh. In the video, he could be seen dressed in a white kurta-pyjama desperately running behind a car that had the banner ‘Alia weds Ranbir’ written on it. He also added a picture of him with Alia and replaced it with Ranbir’s photo. To make it even funnier, he added a sad song to the video. And, Alia could not help but react to the post. She wrote, “ded (laughing emoji)”. Did Alia just confirm her wedding with Ranbir, then?
The Kapoor grandson is going to take a small baraat procession for hitching with his long time girlfriend, Ms Bhatt. The wedding ceremony which will begin in the afternoon on 14th April will last till the evening. Ahead of the wedding, the couple will host a Mehendi Ceremony followed by Haldi on the 13th and 14th respectively.
All the events are said to be strictly private with only family members and close friends in attendance. The decision by the couple to hold the wedding in Mumbai came as a surprise to fans. a guest list of barely 40-50 invitees has been making rounds on the internet, which hints the wedding is a small affair. Apparently, the bride’s brother Bhatt has been entrusted with the security arrangements. Rahul Bhatt said, “Yusuf Bhai has taken over the security of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. He has Mumbai’s best security force – 9/11 agency. He has been hired for the same. Around 200 bouncers have been called from this agency. 10 boys from my team will also be sent.”
It is also learnt that guards will be deployed at RK Studio and Vastu in Chembur. Drones and Roving patrol officers have also been brought into action in the most anticipated wedding.
Earlier on Sunday, the RK Studio shined like a star in a video shared by the paparazzi. The studio was all decked up with fairy lights.
