New Delhi: Addressing the party members on the 42nd party foundation day, PM Modi spoke about the significance of the ‘sthapna diwas’ or foundation day and the things that all the BJP workers can do, to make it a success. He emphasized ‘Seva’ or service that all workers can do for the greater good of society.
The BJP’s foundation day was important for three reasons including the “fast-changing world and global order”, the Prime Minister said. Another reason was the BJP’s recent election victories, the PM told party colleagues.
He hit the opposition political parties without naming the Congress or the Samajwadi Party, his chief competitors in the recent election.
PM Modi has contributed to popularising the saffron party across the country and managing to secure a majority at the Centre. BJP has become the most efficient political party retaining power in four states and accommodating 100 members in the Rajya Sabha- a first for any party in three decades.
