Chhattisgarh: The health ministry on Friday, has released the list of containment zone, according to which the maximum green zone are in Assam at 30 followed by Arunachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with the both States having 25 green zones each.
According to the data, Chhattisgarh has maximum number of green zones after Arunachal pradesh. However capital city Raipur, falls under the red zone, as treatment of all infected patient is going in AIIMS, Raipur, Meanwhile most of them are healthy and discharged from hospital.
Apart from this, Chhattisgarh only hot-spot area “katghora” now declared as orange zone “B”. And all other 25 districts including rajnandgaon, durg, surajpur, jashpur etc falls in green zone .
The major concern that has surfaced comes from Surajpur, as it still lies in green zone even after 3 new cases emerged from the district recently.
So, far Chhattisgarh has reported a total of 40 corona cases, including 4 active cases. While 36 patients have been completely recovered and discharged from the hospital.
The ministry has divided 733 districts across India into red, orange and green zones. The union health ministry has written to all the states chief secretaries, asking them to demarcate the containment zones and restrict the movement. Maharashtra, which has over 10,000 coronavirus cases has the maximum red zones ratio followed by Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The number of people infected by COVID-19 in India has crossed 35 thousand benchmark with a total of 35,043 cases, while the death toll stands at 1,147.
