Corona Update: The tally of covid_19 patients has surpassed the mark of 3M worldwide with 2,00,000 casualties

WORLD: With 2,395 new cases & 197 deaths reported globally the total count of Covid-19 infected patients has reached 3,138,903 and killed 218,010 people worldwide. In the last 24 hours, the number of new cases & deaths has declined giving us a positive sign.

The US has by far the largest number of cases with crossing the count of 1 million confirmed infections. The US also has reported the world’s highest death toll with 59,266 fatalities.

The worst-hit European country Italy with maximum deaths in Europe has reached the toll of 27,359. While Spain, France & UK  have all recorded more than 20, 000 deaths.

However, the US , Spain, Italy along with many other countries reported zero new fatalities in the last 24 hours.

The latest data presents a rise in cases in some parts of the world:

• 1223 new cases and 135 new deaths in Mexico.
• 336 new cases and 20 new deaths in Brazil.
• 273 new cases and 15 new deaths in Pakistan.
• 179 new cases and 9 new deaths in Panama.
• 78 new cases and 9 new deaths in Hungary
• 101 new cases and 1 new death in Cameroon.

USA, Italy and Spain top this tally. 59,266 deaths have been recorded in the US, followed by Italy (27,359) and Spain (23,822).

Countries with Maximum Recoveries

The USA with 142,238 recovered patients tops this list too. There have been 123,903 recoveries in Spain so far and 117,400 patients have been cured in Germany.
