Bhopal: The Jamaat Ul Mujahideen (JMB) terrorists sent to police custody for 14 days revealed to have links in nine states including UP, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Tripura, Telangana, Bihar, West Bengal and Delhi. It is being learnt that they have sleeper cells and active helpers in the above-mentioned states which have been interlinked across the nation.

In view of the information, special teams have been deployed to the state for extracting further information about the network. Taking cognizance of the matter, ATS teams of all states arrived in Bhopal. Meanwhile, ATS from UP is on the lookout for the Shahranpur helper and Deoband contacts of the accused. The Anti-terror squad from Bengal have interrogated the main accused of Bradhaman blast to learn about JMBs Bengal network.

The Madhya Pradesh police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four Bangladeshi nationals from two different locations in Bhopal. Police said those arrested belong to the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), the terrorist group involved in the 2018 Bodhgaya bombing in Bihar. They have been identified as Fazhar Ali alias Mehmood (32), Mohammad Aqeel alias Ahmed (24), Zahooruddin alias Ibrahim (28) and Fazhar Zainul Abdeen alias Akram Al Hasan (25), police said in an official statement on Sunday evening.

The classified operation was carried out jointly by Madhya Pradesh police and the central agencies.
