Raipur: On the 6th day of the budget session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, the matter of recruitment of assistant teachers, lecturers arose in the house. BJP MLA asked how much recruitment took place, how much recruitment is left when the list of selected people was released, how many guests are there, what is the plan for their regularization. When will they be regularized, these questions were put in the assembly.

School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam replied to the question that the lecturer was recruited on 2548 posts. 2814 teachers, 2209 posts of assistant teacher were recruited. Document verification of teachers has been completed. The rest of the process is going on. Dissatisfied with the reply of the ruling party, BJP MLAs walked out of the house.

Earlier, the issue of procurement and distribution of dry ration arose in the House. Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik questioned the ruling party regarding the matter during the Question Hour. Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik asked that the DEO of Kondagaon be suspended due to irregularities. In the house, BJP MLA Shivratan Sharma sought information about the rules of drying and lifting for the procurement of paddy.

Minister Premsai Singh Tekam said that no dryness is acceptable for the stored paddy. Rules have been made for lifting. Paddy will be lifted there as soon as possible. BJP MLA Shivratan Sharma said that paddy lifting has been affected. Minister Premsai Singh Tekam said that 218 crores have been paid in 2020-21. The damages have been paid to the committees. 93.5 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted. 5 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is yet to be lifted. Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said that there has been negligence in paddy lifting. Action should be taken against the culprits.
